About Ken

For over 30 years, Ken has strived to build a reputation for doing what's right for his clients.  Prior to his financial carreer, Ken graduated from Medford High School and later earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Northeastern University.  He worked his way through college with the help of the 5-year Co-op plan.  After graduation he married his high school sweetheart and took a straight commission job with a direct sales firm which offered unlimited income.  It was tough at first and the hours were long, but it helped develop his work ethic and he eventually distinguished himself as a perennial top producer.  He gave sales management a try but realized he enjoyed working directly with his clients, so he decided to focus on the sales end of the business.

Ken's interest in financial matters along with his talent for working with people led him to MetLife where he worked for 18 years as an insurance agent and financial planner.  During that time he focused on building an impressive clientele who valued his sound financial strategies, high level of integrity and exceptional service.  His clients appreciated his easy-going style and knack for making complex financial concepts understandable.*  "MetLife was a great company and I gained a lot of experience, but I was limited on the scope of financial products and services I could offer my clients."

In 2005, he joined New England Schooner, Inc., an office of Royal Alliance Associates, Inc., one of the nation's largest independent broker-dealers for financial professionals.  As an independent financial advisor he now had the freedom to work directly for his clients and offer a universe of financial products and services from many of the finest companies available.

Today, Ken works primarily with baby boomers and seniors whom he readily identifies with.  His expertise is retirement income planning and he holds the Retirent Income Certified Professional® (RICP®) professional designation from the American College of Financial Services.  His mission is to design portfolios and strategies with a focus on income and wealth preservation so his clients can live comfortably and confidently in their retirement years.

Ken and his wife Joan have been married for over 40 years.  They have two married daughters and 3 grandchildren.
